Photo time! Thanks for keeping up with these projects I hope they’re up to snuff 🙂 Just keep in mind that many of these are not quite done, so stay tuned for the final photos!
Questions regarding commissions can go here, thank you! email@example.com
I will also be posting some new videos this evening on YouTube. They show the props in this post if you’d like to see more (and hear me rattle on! Heh). A search for “Johnson Arms” on youtube should find my channel!
She’s finally finished, folks! As with many of my creations, this was built over a functioning nerf recon body. There are many differences if you go to fine details, but the “look and feel” have been pretty well preserved. I’m not sure anyone has the wallet to build a CNC’ed version of this, but feel free to prove me wrong, lol. I hope you all approve and will look forward to 3.0 when my Dad is ready to tackle another one of these beauties 🙂
Just to give the proper credit to a very talented builder, the images we worked from are of an airsoft replica called “Alice” made by a UK resident named “Joe F” who goes by JoaTrash. His metal version is something to behold and I hope you’ll have a look:
Thanks for the visit!
Brian J 😉
Just a quick photo of the Nerf Vera custom. I just have to cement a few pieces and paint that riser for the scope 🙂
Let me know what you think, I’ll have the final photos done in a day or two!
I had a lot of Firefly requests thanks to Halloween coming up and I hope these will pass inspection! There’s some other stuff mixed in as well so I hope you enjoy the photos. Please let me know if you need something for yourself 🙂
So we began work on Vera version 2.0 over the weekend. The magazine came out so nice, I had to share with all you Browncoats out there! The front barrel is only there as a place-holder as the custom barrel is fabricated 😉 A huge thanks to Bruce Johnson for the hard work on the custom work. Apparently this stuff does run in the genes, lol
More progress to be posted soon. Email me if you have some interest in owning version 3.0!
If you can dream it, we can make it 🙂
Johnson Arms Replicas and Props
Thanks for checking them out and I appreciate you telling your friends who dig this kind of stuff 🙂
If you need to reach me regarding a question or commission, please email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. I promise to get back to you as soon as I can 🙂
Here’s a couple new Nerf rifles, the longshot is just about finished and the stampede is about 50% done!
Happy Wednesday everyone! I just wanted to share a couple of the final photos for the converted NERF stampede. I think it came out pretty convincing, but I’ll let you all be the real judges 🙂
Thanks for following the build and stay tuned for more cool stuff!
So last week was a bit of a downer. It rained for about 5 days in a row and really affected my production. So I made up for that today, hehel Here are some photos from what I was able to accomplished with the sun shining. I got a lot moved along in the process and I also think I got too much sun. 🙂
Here’s some first photos of the Stampede-based Pulse Rifle Chris Glas has been building for me (hypercats.net). I should have it next week to begin the painting. It still functions and I’m hoping to have it looking epic when it’s done. Stay tuned! 🙂
Hello and welcome to my humble blog, new visitors 🙂
I wanted to say thanks to Kotaku.com and TheAwesomer.com for showing my custom NERF guns some love! I hope you guys will check back for some of the new stuff I’m working on.
Thanks for the visit and I’ll see you back here soon! 🙂
Just a quick rundown of a few things that are in the works and also just about done. Thanks for having a look!
These Rotator X8’s from Lanard are really popular right now so it’s giving me a chance to play around with more added bits and pieces. This model is apparently electrically powered, but I’m not sure exactly how it works. Looks ok though, yeah? 🙂
Thanks for the visit and here’s a few photos of stuff you’ll see more of soon!
So here’s a few photos of some of the things getting finished up in preparation for a top-secret project that starts in a few days. It’s going to keep me pretty focused for about a week, but I promise to post anything else that hits the workbench in the meantime. There are a lot of cool things planned, so definitely check back soon for details!
Thanks for visiting and talk to ya later! 🙂
This came out looking pretty cool. I’m looking into making a cocking handle so the top slide can be fixed in place. It looks silly when pushed forward and the scope ends up in the wrong place 🙂
Just a few photos from tonight’s work. This one is starting to look nice and broken-in 🙂
The others are just a few other projects that also got some attention. More on those soon!
I hear that every so often, so here are a few of the upcoming steampunk revolvers (and a slide-action scout). I hope these will satisfy the folks yearning for more embellishments 🙂
This photo was from last night and shows the gun at 99% done 🙂 Yes, there’s always a little more to do, but I figured you guys would like to see what a wooden revolver might look like!
Larger photo and about 400 more here:
Here’s the suppressed combo showing in the photo, but there many other ways to load out the gun including the 18rd “glow” magazine and also a 6rd mag that just looks cool, but not really fuctional for a semi auto. I hope you guys like her and she’s a rare one that doesn’t have a home yet, if you have any interest. Thanks!
About damned time, but I think it was worth the wait. Hope you all approve of how it looks 🙂
This project is using the body of a shot last and the stock off a praxis. The M16 magazine is a stand-in for whatever will go there eventually. Being a supersoaker, there is no trigger, but I’ll add one for athestetics as the build progresses.
Here’s the new finish for Mal’s pistol. I still have a few silver accents to add and it will be complete. 🙂 I tried to keep it a little brighter than the actual screen used prop, just because it looks better in my opinion. Accurate isn’t alway pretty 🙂
