I’ve had some interest in District 9 props lately, so here’s a few new and old projects to show a few that I’ve worked on. Hope they’re looking good, the rifle will be done soon 🙂
The good folks at G33kwatch.com putting on a marathon to benefit the Childs Play charity. It’s a great event with some very cool stuff planned including auctions and giveaways. You might even recognize one of the live auction prizes…hehe.

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!
Hey folks! Here’s some progress photos from this week’s projects. It’s my weekend with the kids, so sorry there won’t be more of my element prose…oh, you’re ok with that? Well carry on then! Lol
Thanks for the visit and email me if I can be of service! 🙂
Just a quick photo of the Nerf Vera custom. I just have to cement a few pieces and paint that riser for the scope 🙂
Let me know what you think, I’ll have the final photos done in a day or two!
Here’s a few photos of a project in working on. One is the just the gun, the other is a result of me goofing around in photoshop. I thought you guys might enjoy checking them out. To be clear, this is not in the game, I just thought it looked like it could fit 🙂
It’s been a busy week with a lot of rain here in Florida. Not the best combo, but I make the most of the dry time I do have. Here’s a few photos I hope you’ll enjoy until the next big update 🙂
Here’s a couple more ME themed pistols that are wrapping up soon. I just thought they looked cool together and wanted to share. I hope you’ll like the progress. 🙂
Just a quick rundown of a few things that are in the works and also just about done. Thanks for having a look!
These Rotator X8’s from Lanard are really popular right now so it’s giving me a chance to play around with more added bits and pieces. This model is apparently electrically powered, but I’m not sure exactly how it works. Looks ok though, yeah? 🙂
Thanks for the visit and here’s a few photos of stuff you’ll see more of soon!
Added an extended barrel for accuracy, coupled with an early laser heating system to give almost instant steam power. To keep it streamlined, the water reservoir is hidden inside the insulated hand grip.
And it looks cool, even if all that stuff is completely untrue 🙂
Here’s my latest N7 rifle, I hope you guys like it and are enjoying the new game. I can’t wait to have some time to check it out myself! Lol
Have a great weekend!
Input appreciated, just know its rough and will be cleaned up before a prototype would be made. Thanks!
I got a lot done tonight, despite the cold weather we’re seeing here in the south. Each gun still has work left to be done, but I figured it was best to let them sit overnight to dry.
I hope they’re looking good/appropriate for their respective themes!
Now I just need a whip an a fedora hat to be all decked out for next Halloween! 🙂
So I finally got a chance to finish shaping the trigger guard. Now I just need to cement it in and add epoxy putty to blend the spot that meets at the grip. I’ll then be ready to do final assembly and then we can see just how mean this beast looks! 🙂
Ok, it’s not done, but here’s the first photo of the wooden Maverick with a steampunk feel to it. More depth to be added to the paint, but it’s coming along. I’m starting to like doing the wood finishes! Muahaha 😀
Hey folks! Been on the run this week so in leu of having a full blog update I will be posting photos from the iP4. Sorry for the quality, but I’ll get the DSLR versions up as soon as possible 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and let me know if you have any commission work I can help with. This includes unfinished resin replicas!
All the Best,
Sorry for a short post tonight, but I wanted to get a few photos up before heading out. I painted the rear part of the Vigilon to get a sense of the color-scheme (military/HALO-ish) and from that I think the gun will look pretty cool when it’s all done. I also started breaking up the canvas that is my NERF version of Vera from the TV show Firefly. That’s one heck of a detailed prop and so I’m doing my best to replicate the different surfaces. I’m certain it will look good when it’s done, but I’m shooting for great so we’ll see how the next week goes!
Enjoy the pictures and thank you for visiting my humble little blog site. 🙂
Harrison Krix and his team made this awesome prop for Bioware’s Comic-con booth. They made it in about 2 weeks. Incredible work 🙂 Have a look, there’s even a speed video of some weathering of another very cool Mass Effect gun.
A couple little squirtguns 🙂
