She’s finally finished, folks! As with many of my creations, this was built over a functioning nerf recon body. There are many differences if you go to fine details, but the “look and feel” have been pretty well preserved. I’m not sure anyone has the wallet to build a CNC’ed version of this, but feel free to prove me wrong, lol. I hope you all approve and will look forward to 3.0 when my Dad is ready to tackle another one of these beauties 🙂
Just to give the proper credit to a very talented builder, the images we worked from are of an airsoft replica called “Alice” made by a UK resident named “Joe F” who goes by JoaTrash. His metal version is something to behold and I hope you’ll have a look:
Thanks for the visit!
Brian J 😉
Just a quick photo of the Nerf Vera custom. I just have to cement a few pieces and paint that riser for the scope 🙂
Let me know what you think, I’ll have the final photos done in a day or two!
Yes, another Vera photo..but I think it’s worth it! I’m working on the stock now and should have that done soon. It’s going to be used for a Halloween costume by the commissioner 🙂
Here’s some photos of projects recently worked on. I hope you see something you like 🙂
Thanks for the visit and please check me out on Deviant Art Johnson Arms on dA if you enjoy seeing this kind of thing. I am also always interested in commission pieces.
I worked on a few projects with Dad this weekend, both being ones that I can’t wait to see finished. I’ll add a few photos of the progress and expect more progress soon! (They have to be done for Halloween!)
As always, thanks for visiting and sharing! 🙂
So we began work on Vera version 2.0 over the weekend. The magazine came out so nice, I had to share with all you Browncoats out there! The front barrel is only there as a place-holder as the custom barrel is fabricated 😉 A huge thanks to Bruce Johnson for the hard work on the custom work. Apparently this stuff does run in the genes, lol
More progress to be posted soon. Email me if you have some interest in owning version 3.0!
If you can dream it, we can make it 🙂
Johnson Arms Replicas and Props
I am sorry for any perceived slowdown in weapon production here at Johnson Arms. Lol The weather has been a real problem as the general high-humidity of southern Florida. All that aside, I have been keeping busy and have a few photos to show from the last week. Much more to come, promise!
All the best,
These Rotator X8’s from Lanard are really popular right now so it’s giving me a chance to play around with more added bits and pieces. This model is apparently electrically powered, but I’m not sure exactly how it works. Looks ok though, yeah? 🙂
Thanks for the visit and here’s a few photos of stuff you’ll see more of soon!
Just a smattering of new stuff for the week. There’s more, but these seemed like they would be the ones of interest to most of you folks visiting my site. Vash’s Longcolt is a side-project and will be available when it’s done 🙂
Almost another week gone with lots of progress on the guns I’m working on for clients and for my own enjoyment. 🙂 Hope you enjoy them!
Projects under way..
Most of the finished guns are available for sale immediately if you’re interested. Just shoot me an email – BCJFLA76@Gmail.com. Thanks for visiting, please let me know if I can help with your commission ideas!
Sorry for a short post tonight, but I wanted to get a few photos up before heading out. I painted the rear part of the Vigilon to get a sense of the color-scheme (military/HALO-ish) and from that I think the gun will look pretty cool when it’s all done. I also started breaking up the canvas that is my NERF version of Vera from the TV show Firefly. That’s one heck of a detailed prop and so I’m doing my best to replicate the different surfaces. I’m certain it will look good when it’s done, but I’m shooting for great so we’ll see how the next week goes!
Enjoy the pictures and thank you for visiting my humble little blog site. 🙂
