She’s finally finished, folks! As with many of my creations, this was built over a functioning nerf recon body. There are many differences if you go to fine details, but the “look and feel” have been pretty well preserved. I’m not sure anyone has the wallet to build a CNC’ed version of this, but feel free to prove me wrong, lol. I hope you all approve and will look forward to 3.0 when my Dad is ready to tackle another one of these beauties 🙂
Just to give the proper credit to a very talented builder, the images we worked from are of an airsoft replica called “Alice” made by a UK resident named “Joe F” who goes by JoaTrash. His metal version is something to behold and I hope you’ll have a look:
Thanks for the visit!
Brian J 😉
I had a lot of Firefly requests thanks to Halloween coming up and I hope these will pass inspection! There’s some other stuff mixed in as well so I hope you enjoy the photos. Please let me know if you need something for yourself 🙂
Thanks for checking them out and I appreciate you telling your friends who dig this kind of stuff 🙂
If you need to reach me regarding a question or commission, please email me directly at email@example.com. I promise to get back to you as soon as I can 🙂
Here’s a couple new Nerf rifles, the longshot is just about finished and the stampede is about 50% done!
Happy Wednesday everyone! I just wanted to share a couple of the final photos for the converted NERF stampede. I think it came out pretty convincing, but I’ll let you all be the real judges 🙂
Thanks for following the build and stay tuned for more cool stuff!
Hello and welcome to my humble blog, new visitors 🙂
I wanted to say thanks to Kotaku.com and TheAwesomer.com for showing my custom NERF guns some love! I hope you guys will check back for some of the new stuff I’m working on.
Thanks for the visit and I’ll see you back here soon! 🙂
Just a quick rundown of a few things that are in the works and also just about done. Thanks for having a look!
Hey Guys and Gals! My good friends have a kickstarter project that I think you’ll really going to dig! They’re needing some backing to help make the film and I’d really appreciate you checking it out. Your support, no matter how little, will really help to get this made. This world needs more steampunk and you can make that happen! 🙂
You might even see some of my weaponry in the film, that’s gotta be worth a buck or two, right? Lol
These Rotator X8’s from Lanard are really popular right now so it’s giving me a chance to play around with more added bits and pieces. This model is apparently electrically powered, but I’m not sure exactly how it works. Looks ok though, yeah? 🙂
Thanks for the visit and here’s a few photos of stuff you’ll see more of soon!
So here’s a few photos of some of the things getting finished up in preparation for a top-secret project that starts in a few days. It’s going to keep me pretty focused for about a week, but I promise to post anything else that hits the workbench in the meantime. There are a lot of cool things planned, so definitely check back soon for details!
Thanks for visiting and talk to ya later! 🙂
Just a few photos from tonight’s work. This one is starting to look nice and broken-in 🙂
The others are just a few other projects that also got some attention. More on those soon!
Just a smattering of new stuff for the week. There’s more, but these seemed like they would be the ones of interest to most of you folks visiting my site. Vash’s Longcolt is a side-project and will be available when it’s done 🙂
I hear that every so often, so here are a few of the upcoming steampunk revolvers (and a slide-action scout). I hope these will satisfy the folks yearning for more embellishments 🙂
Here’s the suppressed combo showing in the photo, but there many other ways to load out the gun including the 18rd “glow” magazine and also a 6rd mag that just looks cool, but not really fuctional for a semi auto. I hope you guys like her and she’s a rare one that doesn’t have a home yet, if you have any interest. Thanks!
I got to use my extra firefly props finally 🙂
This was another “realistic” paintjob, I’m hoping the next one will be a brass one-off. That should look really cool.
Just have to paint the grip and add some bits and pieces and it’s done! I hope the accents will look appropriate when it’s done. 🙂
I wanted to add a little something to the mav, so I made a clay skull from the mold I made a while back. I still have to detail the eyes a bit, they need little pupils. Maybe made of small rubies or Swarovski “diamonds”. Just a little sparkle 🙂
So my friend asked if I could make a NERF gun for her 5 year old’s birthday. That’s a tough thing, guessing the likes of a little kid. I hope I got it right, haha.
I know the colors are a little out of line for the theme, but it just looked too cool not to do 🙂
Ok, it’s not done, but here’s the first photo of the wooden Maverick with a steampunk feel to it. More depth to be added to the paint, but it’s coming along. I’m starting to like doing the wood finishes! Muahaha 😀
Welcome back guys! Just some phone snaps from last night showing progress on a few of the smaller guns and such. I also got my first LED working! Quite excited about where that’s going lead on the guns (mmm glowing lights..heh). Anyways, check out the photos and let me know if you’re needing something unique for Halloween or anything else coming up!
