Happy V-Day guys! Here’s a few new photos from the shop! I’m almost done with a huge order, then we’ll have a bunch of new stuff to post and share. Stay tuned and have a great day with your loved ones 🙂
Photo time! Thanks for keeping up with these projects I hope they’re up to snuff 🙂 Just keep in mind that many of these are not quite done, so stay tuned for the final photos!
Questions regarding commissions can go here, thank you! email@example.com
I will also be posting some new videos this evening on YouTube. They show the props in this post if you’d like to see more (and hear me rattle on! Heh). A search for “Johnson Arms” on youtube should find my channel!
Here’s some photos of projects recently worked on. I hope you see something you like 🙂
Thanks for the visit and please check me out on Deviant Art Johnson Arms on dA if you enjoy seeing this kind of thing. I am also always interested in commission pieces.
So last week was a bit of a downer. It rained for about 5 days in a row and really affected my production. So I made up for that today, hehel Here are some photos from what I was able to accomplished with the sun shining. I got a lot moved along in the process and I also think I got too much sun. 🙂
Just a quick rundown of a few things that are in the works and also just about done. Thanks for having a look!
This week has been a mixed bag weather-wise. Days of rain have lead into 50 degree evenings which is not the norm here in Florida. Humid and chilly is also not ideal for painting, unfortunately, so I’ve had to be creative with the drying process. This amounts to cardboard boxes damp-rid to eat up any moisture floating around the shop. It’s not ideal, but you do what works until the weather is more cooperative 🙂
With a secret project in full-swing, I haven’t had time to do as much with the other blasters, but rest assured that after Friday we will be back in full swing.
Here’s a few photos in the meantime, stay tuned for more!
So, in my free time (ha!), I decided to work on a grenade. Seemed logical at the time. I had some plastic grenades left from a project, so I paired them up to LEDs and a bit of epoxy clay. This is the result 🙂 I think it looks pretty cool and I hope you guys enjoy. If anyone’s interested in one or a few, please let me know. I have a lot of other styles to try out, hehe.
These Rotator X8’s from Lanard are really popular right now so it’s giving me a chance to play around with more added bits and pieces. This model is apparently electrically powered, but I’m not sure exactly how it works. Looks ok though, yeah? 🙂
Thanks for the visit and here’s a few photos of stuff you’ll see more of soon!
All finished with the new brass technique and I’m quite satisfied. The photos can’t really show the depth in the paint, but it’s pretty snazzy in person. This is the same style that I did for the SP longshot. I hope you guys like the look!
So here’s a few photos of some of the things getting finished up in preparation for a top-secret project that starts in a few days. It’s going to keep me pretty focused for about a week, but I promise to post anything else that hits the workbench in the meantime. There are a lot of cool things planned, so definitely check back soon for details!
Thanks for visiting and talk to ya later! 🙂
This was just an idea I decided to try out. Feel free to let me know if you like the look – also potentially with green lighting instead of the white/blue in the photo. Thanks!
Just wanted to show of the new name plates that Christopher Glas (http://hypercats.net) made for me. They came out awesome and a little paintwork made them blend right in to the longshot 🙂
Just a few photos from tonight’s work. This one is starting to look nice and broken-in 🙂
The others are just a few other projects that also got some attention. More on those soon!
Added an extended barrel for accuracy, coupled with an early laser heating system to give almost instant steam power. To keep it streamlined, the water reservoir is hidden inside the insulated hand grip.
And it looks cool, even if all that stuff is completely untrue 🙂
Just a smattering of new stuff for the week. There’s more, but these seemed like they would be the ones of interest to most of you folks visiting my site. Vash’s Longcolt is a side-project and will be available when it’s done 🙂
I hear that every so often, so here are a few of the upcoming steampunk revolvers (and a slide-action scout). I hope these will satisfy the folks yearning for more embellishments 🙂
So I had some parts sitting about and I decided to see if I could make a steam tank. This was just a fitting, but it’s looking just the way I envisioned it 🙂 I think it will really be difficult to recognize this as a foam dart gun, when it’s complete. Thanks for having a look and feel free to subscribe for more stuff like this!
Input appreciated, just know its rough and will be cleaned up before a prototype would be made. Thanks!
