Trigun Longcolt Complete
Here’s the newest Longcolt for any Trigun Fans out there! I ended up having to use aluminum pipe to support the cylinder. I also threw out the crummy nut and bolt hardware for the frame’s pivot point. It’s all fixed in place now, but it looks a lot better and it’s a hell of a lot more secure for handling 🙂
I’m ready to get after another one if anyone’s interested. Thanks!

Ya know I can’t wait to get my hands on it when it arrives in the mail, but I’m wondering what kind of nerf gun would go great with the style that Trigun has. With it’s mix of steampunk, sci-fi, and old west…ness? You should make something like that.

Can’t wait to have you see it, John! 🙂 I think the Rotator X8 revolver is maybe a good fit for the Trigun theme. I’ll try to do one up and see what you think!

They are coming out with a new series of Nerf guns called the Elite, they said all guns should be out by 9/9/12. Could be something in there that might be worth waiting for.

Yes there is and they do have some neat stuff coming out. There’s a few new things, but mosty redone models with more range out of the box. Might be worth the wait, but that’s all dependent on how patient you are 🙂

Is this an airsoft gun? It doesn’t look like a nerf gun, what did you start with?

That’s a resin casting, so it’s solid with no moving parts. They have made much more complicated replicas in the past, but those unfinished kits sell for hundreds just by themselves 🙂
